Websites for cleaning companies
A facility manager sourcing a janitorial vendor and a homeowner looking for someone every other Thursday are not the same customer, and they do not want the same website. Most cleaning company sites pick one and hope the other figures it out.

This website has a different job
Two customers. Two jobs. One site that sorts them.
The commercial buyer is doing due diligence. They want to know you are insured and bonded, whether your cleaners are employees or subcontractors, whether you can cover their square footage, and whether you will still be around in eighteen months. They read slowly and they compare.
The residential buyer is doing almost the opposite. They want a price range, a sense that you are trustworthy in their home, and a way onto the schedule without a phone call. They decide quickly, on a phone, often after a long day.
If you serve both, the site has to sort them within a few seconds of landing. That is a structure problem, and it is solvable. I have built for a union commercial cleaning company and for a residential cleaner, and the two sites are built for two different jobs.
What I build into it
Two front doors
Commercial and residential visitors sorted on the first screen, each landing on the page written for them.
Credibility for the procurement review
Insurance, bonding, staffing model, scope, and how long you have been at it, where a facility manager can find them without asking.
A quote form that does the back and forth
For residential: square footage, frequency, preferred day. For commercial: a walkthrough request. Both remove the phone tag before it starts.
A look that wins the bid
Cleaning is a trust purchase. A sharp, current site is the first evidence a buyer gets that you are careful.
The work
Built for cleaning companies
“I came into Mel's office clueless and frantic to get a website for my cleaning business. Not only was she affordable, she helped me come up with a logo and name with catch phrases. I couldn't have asked for a more professional and helpful web developer. My website was up and running in record time and flawlessly beautiful.”

Northland Commercial CleaningBuilt to reach commercial cleaning clients for a union cleaning company.
Smith's Spotless SpacesA clean, mobile-first site for a residential cleaning business, built to book recurring clients.

Who you're hiring
Built by someone who knows the trade
I spent about a decade in custom home building, real estate, and land development before Melsmark, selling to the same homeowners and property managers your site has to convince. So the conversation about your website starts from how your work actually gets sold, not from a template. You will not be explaining your own business to your web designer.

Questions from cleaning companies
- Do you build for commercial or residential cleaning companies?
- Both, and I treat them differently because they are different businesses. Commercial sites are built to survive a procurement review. Residential sites are built to get a homeowner from curious to scheduled without making them call first.
- How much does a cleaning company website cost?
- Websites run $1,200 to $3,200 depending on pages, and a company running both lines or several cities usually lands around $2,200. Hosting and updates are $75 a month after launch.
- Can the site take quote requests without a phone call?
- Yes. For residential work, a short form asking square footage, frequency, and preferred day removes most of the back and forth. For commercial, a walkthrough request usually converts better than a booking widget, since the buyer wants to meet you first.
- How long does it take?
- Usually one to four weeks from kickoff to live, depending on how quickly I get your content and feedback.
Where I build
East Bethel is home. These are the towns I work in most, in person or remotely.
